BRUTHA X SELF-TITLED ALBUM X HOT?

Brutha  ! Their self titled album has finally debuted. I’ve always been curious of how their album would turn out from watching their show on BET. Their life story seemed to entrigue me since they have been in a struggle… Regardless of that , their album which includes stories of relationships, soulful and pop beats , and imagery. It’s definitely something you fellas can relate to.

The first track titled Bang Bang describes  a relationship that isn’t going to great . I thought the penmanship of the lyrics could have been a tad bit better.. “ This relationship is Gay “..Other than that it’s an okay track , nothing that really “banged” to me.

The second track, which is their first single feature fabulous, titled Can’t hear the music , is a hot track !

I think my favorite record on the album though is “Ghost” . It depicts things that  are deeper in the relationship and how he realizes that , but unfortunately it’s an amnesia song. . they want to forget about the relationship and how hard it is to get over the past.

Some production came from the talented duo The Cornor Boyz and Corey Bold. But I believe the production on the album could have been a bit stronger. It doesn’t hit “hard” to me.

Overall… an okay album Boys !

FRESH Sounds , Sultry Voices , Musiq Soulchild’s Album , ON MY RADIO — a must grab !

Musiq soul child has been blessing us with his soulful melodies and sultry sounds for years. Finally, his new album entitled ONMYRADIO, gives us tales of love, hardship, and emotion, One of his best.

His first track entitled “ Back again” he starts with a brief intro.. “ I thought it was over baby…!” Displaying his comeback with a dope album . Classic drums, with crisp piano sounds. IT explains how his love is coming back but he doen’t want to accept it back. “ I thought It as over.. but here you come back again.. Welcome back.. welcome back.”

The second track called “Until” , suppresses a cool and calm track, expressing love and emotion. A Soulful melodic sample is used which really gives a mold to the track.

One of my favorite records “If You Leave” , is probably one of those duets you can’t seem to stop playing. Featured on this track is Mary J Blige . I Love the record.

Musiq always knows how to express his feelings by telling a story, portrays love in a melodic way. Tracks to be put on repeat include “Deserve you more” , Special, Love of my life” .

His album is an A plus for me, with soulful melodies and his beautiful voice. MUST COP !
