Summer is coming and everyone needs their hot Summer playlist. Spankin’ New Video: Lupe Fiasco – “I’m Beamin’”

Lupe drops his highly anticipated “I’m Beamin’” video which was directed by Illusive Media. The Neptunes produced single is the first offering off of Lupe’s third album “L.A.S.E.R.S.”! Lupe should be announcing a release date next week! Watch the video and let us know what you think!

Erykah Badu Prepares Big Tour!

Everyone’s talking about Erykah Badu’s video for “Window Seat”, but she gives even more to talk about with the announcement of her new tour!

Opening acts, that will vary from city to city include my favorite, N.E.R.D., Bilal, Janelle Monae, and drummer Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson from The Roots.

In addition to this tour, Badu has joined the lineups for this summer’s Lollapalooza Festival and will reunite with the revamped Lilith Fair tour for 7 Canadian and US dates. Erykah Badu will also be featured as a special guest at Maxwell’s upcoming concerts at Phillips Arena in Atlanta on June 11th and Madison Square Garden in New York Cit on June 26th.

Video Pick: Boondocks Season 3 Trailer

The third and final season of the “The Boondocks” is coming May 2nd on Adult Swim. That’s right you read it right, this will be the final season! While the trailer looks good with the great sounds provided by Jay Electronica, we aren’t too happy to know that this will be the last season. Hopefully, the genius behind the strip and show, Aaron McGruder decides to change his mind. Until then check out the trailer and get ready, because it’s coming!

New Music: Big Boi – “Shutterbugg”

The wait is over. After two years of waiting and many leaked tracks, Big Boi of Outkast’s leaked the first single off his debut solo album on Def Jam. Here is the Scott Storch produced “Shutterbugg”. The song have a really old school “Computer Love” vibe to it and is definitely a head nodder. While we really dig the song, “Royal Flush” went harder. Hopefully, there’s no more push backs for “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty”. The album is scheduled to be released May 4, 2010. We are definitely looking forward to that!
