Talented singer/songwriter Rochelle Jordan was born in England, but moved to Canada at the young age of 4. Addicted to TV talent shows such as Star Search and video tapes of Micheal Jackson, Jordan was already plotting out her career in music at age 13. To Rochelle, the 90’s was the real Music and she really wanted to be apart of this movement. When she turned 16, she formed a group, “2nd Level” with her cousin, but due to unorganized management and false promises, the group fell apart and Rochelle stopped singing for a couple of years.
Being at the right place at the right time at the age of 19, Rochelle found herself conversing with a producer named d10 who was at the time producing for Drake who got her a gig singing back up for Canada’s pop R&B artist Keisha Chante. This lead to more background single gigs and the formation of a band, “Intheroy”. The band toured the singer’s home town of Toronto. After a while things became slow again so she decided to through some video’s up on youtube. That is when she got a email from LA area Music Producer Klash, who had seen her videos. The production Company that Klash works for, Protostar Entertainment promptly had the singer flown to Los Angeles to record for weeks at a time. Since working with Klash, Rochelle has written numerous songs amongst them a Tyra Banks Reality show theme song, and she has also been tapped to write with fellow Canadian Drake.
She is now being scouted by several labels so in order to show herself an true artist in todays internet era Rochelle is putting out her own ep titled “A L I E N P H A S E” a piece of work that took 14 months to finish. “A L I E N P H A S E” is a collective of songs about enjoying life and the emotions that are attached. “Each song is like an emotion we have all felt at some point and time”, states music producer Klash “We hope you like it.”
