Hip-Hop fans have deemed Nas’s 1994 release Illmatic as a classic and there are constant debates that the album is Nas’s personal best. Now Nas will commemorate the 20th year anniversary of the album with a special Illmatic XX release due April 15th via SONY Legacy. The special edition album will feature new remixes, unreleased demos, freestyles, and other exclusives. A documentary titled, Time is Illmatic will also be released this year.

Nas will also take to stages and festivals worldwide to perform the classic LP from start to finish. More details on the album and performances will be available on Nas’s official website www.nasirjones.com.
