I know I’m probably late, but I just came across this song and video by 21 year old LA Rapper David Sabastian called “Pussy Marijuana”. I’m really feeling this joint. The video is a hot one too! I’m definitely looking to hearing more from David Sabastian in the future.

Meet Rico Love and Fat Joe’s new artist Cherlise. Cherlise is currently signed to Rico’s Division1 label which is also home to Young Chris and Teairra Mari. The young Miami singer was discovered on set of a Fat Joe video and immediately began working with songwriter/producer Rico Love. Her album is due next year and will feature her Lil’ Wayne assisted first single “Love U Right”. Check out the track below!

Meet singer-songwriter-producer Jon Bellion and his new video “Claps And Autotune For Lovers.” Jon is a New York based artist whose quirky sound is described as “Kanye West Meet Jason Mraz”. Jon both composes and produces all of his music himself. From writing the lyrics, to the beats and the mixing, it’s all Jonathan Bellion. Combining exceptional talent and fearless ambition, Jon Bellion is developing what he refers to as a “movement” with the launching of his project, “Beautiful Mind”. Jon’s first mixtape, “Scattered Thoughts Vol. 1” was released in early 2011 via his Facebook page, and organically reached over 11,000 downloads.

When a new artist hits the scene, adjectives like fresh and honest frequently get thrown around when, in many instances, it’s more hype than truth. But that’s definitely not the case when it comes to Luke James.

And just who is Luke James?

He’s a singer/songwriter who truly embodies the honesty and fresh, organic soulfulness that’s been in relatively short supply of late in contemporary music. Now that sounds like a pretty tall order for a newcomer to fulfill. However, the New Orleans native is very much up to the task. In fact, you’ve no doubt heard his work: he co-wrote Chris Brown’s “Crawl” and has penned songs for Justin Bieber (“That Should Be Me”) and Britney Spears (“Kill The Lights”), among others. And his growing fan base includes none other than Beyoncé, who selected James to appear in her “Run the World” video.

James’ real-deal approach to music and—more important—the craft of singing are the main attractions on his upcoming mixtape and album of the same name: Made to Love. Both mark the singer/songwriter’s debut on Mercury/Island Def Jam via New Age Rock Star Records (NARS), the label helmed by award-winning producer Danja (Mariah Carey, Keri Hilson) and long-time collaborator / mixing engineer Marcella Araica (Madonna, Pink, Timbaland).
