Breakin’ New First: Aint No Party Like An EarthGang Party!

People usually hit me up on twitter and ask who or what is EarthGang? Well I guess it’s time for a proper introduction! EarthGang is a fresh new group out of Atlanta, Georgia. They really can’t be classified into one category which is what makes them even more sick. Usually compared to pioneers OutKast, the group prefers to drop the comparisons and just be appreciated for the greatness that they are themselves.  They recently released a new mixtape called “The Better Party” with the best of their material. While it is just the beginning for the group, they have already opened up for the likes of Fabolous, LeToya Luckett, and Jeremih. Check out their mixtape and website after the jump. I’ve been anticipating this mixtape for a minute now. B.o.B is one of my favorite rappers out right now and he delivers a brand new mixtape today entitled “May 25th”, which is the date his debut “B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray” drops. Sophia Fresh: “So Phreakin’ Fresh”

Girl Groups seem to be a thing of the past. The last few to survive were Destiny’s Child and TLC, but this year a slew of girl groups have been making some noise. First up we have Electrik Red, that’s The Dream’s raunchy, provocative girls. Then there was Rich Harrison’s Rich Girl who created a small buzz and is currently on tour with Beyonce. Next up to bat is T-Pain’s Sophia Fresh.

Cool Kids: Gone Fishing

So one of my favorite groups The Cool Kids are back with a new mixtape “Gone Fishing” that’s to hold us over until they drop their debut album, “When Fish Ride Bicycles” later this year. You probably already heard of these guys before or seen them on Rhapsody TV commercials with their single, “Black Mags”. Check out their latest offering, because I am sure it’s crazy just like the rest of their material. Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish bring the heat! Stay put for more Cool Kids!

Clinton Sparks & Chester French: Jacques Jams Vol. 1: Endurance

Chester French consists of two members, Maxwell Drummey and D.A. Wallach. They met as college students at the prestigious Harvard University.The band is named after sculptor Daniel Chester French, who designed the statue at the Lincoln Memorial, the John Harvard statue, as well as the Minuteman statue at the Lexington/Concord battlegrounds in Massachusetts. Chester French’s long-awaited mixtape “Jacques Jams” finally leaked! Check it out here. I haven’t even listened, but judging from the appearances it looks like the mixtaped is stacked with dopeness. Can’t wait to listen to this…so yeah yall check it out and I am going to do the same thing and come back with my verdict. Let it rock!
