Despicable: so worthless or obnoxious as to rouse moral indignation. Despicable is hardly a word that should be used to describe the new “Despicable Me” soundtrack which has exclusive new tracks from the executive producer Pharrell. Eight of the new tracks for the OST have been produced by The Neptunes with two classics: The Bee Gee’s – “You Should Be Dancing” & The Sylvers – “Boogie Fever”.

Despicable Me: The soundtrack’s opening track. It seems to be the theme of the main villain/character Gru. In the song Pharrell raps about why Gru carries out the actions he does and if you don’t agree with it… well that’s okay. Personally its one of my faves off the soundtrack.

Fun, Fun, Fun: One of the soundtrack’s standout tracks. The beat is infectious and most importantly… fun ironically as the song exclaims. It features Pharrell singing his heart out over the percussion. Another great track that you definitely shouldn’t sleep on.

I’m On A Roll: New song sung by the duo Destinee & Paris that is very BORING. Nothing sticks out about the track at all and it’s very dull and boring… especially their voices. Very blah!

Minion Mambo feat. Pharrell & Lupe Fiasco: Another of my favorites as well…. It takes Lupe Fiasco rapping as one of the Minions pledging their loyalty to Gru and how they are going to help him steal the moon. It’s a silly track that’s fun as well, you’ll definitely be able to clown to it.

Boogie Fever: Now of course this classic is just that A CLASSIC that was released in 1975 from their album “Showcase” and obviously could still get play at a party and be able to rock to it. Always have to pay homage to our old school music.

My Life: Robin Thicke makes an appearance on the soundtrack with a great lil cut on the album. It’s very catchy and easy to bump to. I expect this one to be a fan favorite.

Prettiest Girls: Once again Pharrell produces a track that has him singing once again but the beat is very happy and jolly. Even the toughest of people will catch themselves rocking from side to side listening to him proclaim whom the Prettiest Girls are.

Rocket’s Theme: Pharrell takes the route of creating a song that talks about Gru’s plans of getting to the moon on a rocket and getting there before ‘they’ come. The moon is Gru’s ultimate goal in the film and this song definitely coincides with that purpose.

You Should Be Dancing: Now many of us know the Bee Gee’s for many songs during the disco era but You Should Be Dancing is something any fan of music can deny is something that doesn’t have your body rocking to the beat. Another classic that is placed perfectly on the album

The Unicorn Song: “Unicorns I Love Them, Unicorns I Love” are the only words said in the entire track but don’t think the simplicity of the song means it won’t be great. Agnes creates a track very reminiscent of a club song and it’s fun to dance to as well. It’s a nice lil track.

And to sum it all up although the soundtrack is ONLY 10 tracks I do believe that The Neptunes have produced an album that is worthy of being the soundtrack and giving us quality music that we can enjoy.

“Despicable Me” hits theaters July 7th and the soundtrack is in stores July 6th!

Wow. I have to say that the 2010 BET Awards was definitely the best one yet. Even the Red Carpet show was entertaining! There’s some moments that I want to get into, but first I want to just give a big thanks to BET for throwing the BET Awards Viewing Party in Philadelphia! It was a success and thanks for the dope customized Ipod Nano!

Now…on to the show. The award show had so many great moments, but I can’t cover them all. I will just cover some of my favorite moments and get into a few of the not so great moments of the show.

Kanye West – “Power”

What better way to open the show than with the return of KanYe West? Man…that definitely set the pace for the show. The backdrop was simply amazing and very much like the Glow In The Dark tour. KanYe is back and he’s coming with it. The only flaw with the performance was that BET had to censor like EVERY word, we heard maybe 10% of the song, but it’s all good. I’m ready for September…I am sure he will do a “Good Ass Job”. Shout out to BMF for the footage!

Following that amazing performance was an amazing show opener by the wonderful host Queen Latifah. Queen Latifah did her thing tonight! There is nothing worst than a good show with a bad host and I am more than happy that Queen Latifah was chosen to do the job. While she may not have performed the latest big girl rendition of a Beyonce dance like Mo’Nique, she really held her own and kept the momentum going for the evening! Kudos to Queen Latifah.

Diddy- Dirty Money ft. Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and T.I. – “Hello, Good Morning”

Pyro, lots of smoke, and lots of star power were just three factors of one of the hottest performances of the night. Diddy and his Dirty Money crew (Wassup Kalenna?!) ripped the stage with their remix of their hit single “Hello, Good Morning”. Rick Ross, T.I., and Nicki Minaj were great additions to an already great performance. Our only complaint is that at times the smoke kind of took the limelight…literally. We spent a great deal of time looking at silhouettes and listening to backing tracks. Other than that Diddy and Dirty Money killed their choreography and had the whole place rocking! Now we are waiting to finally board this “Last Train To Paris”. It’s been scheduled to take off for a year now, but the album is now set to drop this fall! Let’s work.

Mike Epps was one of the few things that just did not work for the night. He was not funny at all. I’m not hating. I am just speaking my mind. Oh and I am glad Debra Lee kept it short and did not bring up Don Cornelius. Oh yeah another thing that could have been avoided…the “Music Matters” section was a great idea. Big ups to J. Cole for getting a few minutes to do his thing…but come on Debarge should have left that one alone and that one girl who sound worst than Keyshia Cole. I understand artists like to surprise the crowd and do things that make sense for the audince, but B.o.B. should have called up Hayley Williams for “Airplanes pt. II” and left Keyshia Cole in her seat. She did that great song NO JUSTICE and she was a vocal disaster in my opinion. Eminem literally recovered that performance and saved it from being a complete wreck. Kudos.

Usher- “There Goes My Baby”

They call him U-S-H-E-R. Usher could have easily ripped the stage with “OMG”, but he chose to cool the night down with a decent performance of “There Goes My Baby”. Watching the performance reminded me of his earlier days. I think it was the way he breezed through the verses and commanded the stage doing the minimal. Good job Usher…I wonder what will be the next single after “There Goes My Baby”.

The Chris Brown Michael Jackson Tribute

Epic. Epic. Epic. Job well done Chris Brown. This was by far the best Michael Jackson tribute. It was an emotional roller coaster, but he killed it! He put his heart on that stage. Shout out to everyone saying he faked his emotions…come on, really? Get a life. Good job Chris Brown…I hope things work out for you!

-

Congratulations to everyone who won an award. Wait. Video of the Year went to Beyonce and Lady GaGa for “Video Phone”….I am sorry, but that was the biggest WTF moment of the evening. Congrats to Alicia Keys and all of her awards, y’all had to love Prince’s reaction to her hopping her pregnant self up on that piano. She did her thing though! Congrats to John Legend, Prince, and everyone else. It was a great show!

It’s heating up outside, but will the charts be heating up with some hot new music? Dirty Money, Christina Aguilera, and Nicki Minaj released their new singles. Check out the verdict Below.

Dirty Money ft. T.I. – “Hello, Good Morning” (Produced by Danja)

Diddy is prepping the release of his “Last Train To Paris” project with his newly formed group Dirty Money which consists of former Danity Kane member Dawn and songwriter Kalenna. The trio found success with their Biggie assisted “Angels” and their club anthem “Love Come Down”. This time around the group gets assistance from the King of the South T.I. on the Danja produced “Hello, Good Morning”. The track is a club banger and is definitely about to take over Pop and Urban charts.

earStyle.NET Rating:

Nicki Minaj ft. Sean Garrett – “Massive Attack” (Produced by Alex Da Kidd/Sean Garrett)

It’s the moment Barbies everywhere have been waiting for…or maybe it isn’t. Nicki Minaj’s first single “Massive Attack” finally leaked and it’s a bit underwhelming if you ask me. There’s a few problems here with this track. The song is called “Massive Attack”, but there really isn’t anything Massive about it. The production is all over the place and the chorus is a bit lazy. It’s Nicki though so radio will most likely go crazy over it. I’m not even going to lie though, I am definitely looking for the Amber Rose assisted and Hype Williams directed video. It should be a good one! This one will probably grow on me.

earStyle.NET Rating:

Christina Aguilera – “Not Myself Tonight” (Produced by Polow Da Don)

X-tina is back! No one was really sure what sound Christina would be going for this time around. Before her Greatest Hits package, Christina literally took us back to the big band days and now she’s hitting the clubs with her Dance track “Not Myself Tonight”. What makes the track good is that it’s not a typical Red One/David Guetta dance track which everyone seems to be doing these days. We are definitely looking forward to what else she have to offer on her new album, “Bionic” which is set to drop this June.

Track by Track Review.

01. “Dr. Cornel West Intro” – Yes! Dr. Cornel West himself is all over this project, so you already know it’s going to be a good journey from the beginning. Dr. Cornell West proclaims as Raheem DeVaughn as the future of great music.

02. “Bulletproof (ft. Ludacris)” – You have probably heard this single on your favorite radio station…if they play good music. You would never expect gun shots to sound so smooth and relaxing. Ludacris comes with his A game and states, “My future is ever clear/180 proof”…we couldn’t disagree. This is definitely a track to check out!

03. “The Greatness (ft. Wale)” – DeVaughn gets help from fellow DMV artist Wale on this track which praises the greatness of a woman. “Under the gloss of your lips is greatness/ Greatness underneath it all/ Beautiful inside out/ Love you inside out/ When you don’t feel beautiful at all…look at mirror on wall” The song contains really nice lyrics, but my favorite is the opening “Konichiwa Ladies”… if you know me you know that is a staple lol.

04. “I Don’t Care” – This is a good track and it gives off a really feel good feeling. The track kind of reminds me of Robin Thicke’s “Magic”. Am I the only who hear the resemblance?

05. “Black and Blue” – Here’s Raheem DeVaughn’s fight against domestic abuse. “Love ain’t knocking you on the ground/Calling you out of your name” Really nice track and definitely relevant to these days.

06. “Mr. Right” – When I hear this I get CCB’s “Phatty” in my head for some reason. Maybe I am just crazy…The title pretty much explains the message of this song, but it is one of my favorites on the album!

07. “Dr. Cornell West (Interlude)” – Just an interlude…don’t really mind it.

08. “Fragile (ft. Malik Yusef)” – Ladies, if your heart requires a little Tender Loving Care put all of your faith in Raheem. Nice track.

09. “My Wife” – This track has a nice message about not looking for a girlfriend, a married woman, and etc., but looking for that true wife. Nice message, but this is one of the weakest on the album.

10. “B.O.B.” – Raheem isn’t singing about Bombs over Baghdad on this track, but he’s speaking about something that can’t do it like him…a battery operated boyfriend. This track definitely caught me off guard, but it’s a good one!

11. “Bedroom” – An average track with an old school feel. Not bad.

12. “Microphone” – Another filler track…it’s alright.

13. “Garden Of Love” – Nice track!

14. “Dr. Cornell West P.S.A.” – Mr. West is back to close the album. Again, don’t really mind it. The interludes really kept the album flowing.

15. ”Revelations 2010 (ft. Damian Marley)” – This is one of my favorites on the album. The only thing missing is the homie Nasir Jones.

Overall Album Rating:

Omarion is back with a new album “Ollusion”. Following the release of his, “21″ album which featured the infectious “Entourage” and “Ice Box” and his collab album with Bow Wow “Face Off”, Omarion comes with his first album to sport a Parental Advisory sticker. After seeing the videos and hearing the singles, I was kind of apprehensive about this one. However, the slow numbers definitely makes up for the cheesyness like “I Get It In”. Check out our track by track review after the jump.

“I Get It In” ft. Gucci Mane : This was the first single. Yep, the one with that cheesy video that proved Omarion could still dance…I guess. Not really feeling this one. earStyle.NET rating :

“Last Night (Kinkos)”: I am going to give him a thumbs up for this slow number. Very repetitive, but the song does have “Kinkos” in the title…Copy machine? Over and over…creative I guess lol. earStyle.NET rating:

“Hoodie” ft. Jay Rock: Don’t like this at all. earStyle.NET rating:

“What Do You Say”: A nice little slow number about him offering a girl a chance to get to know him better. THe beat is kind of lullaby-ish, but with a little umph to it. “Lets talk about the birds and the bees and being grown/What Do You Say?” earStyle.NET rating:

“Speedin’”: Omarion’s doing 90 on the highway to make love the way it used to be. Probably one of my favorite songs on this album. Omarion sings over a Piano, electric guitar, and snare drum with urgency as he tries to recover what he had. Check out the MJ growl at the end lol. earStyle.NET rating:

“Temptation”: Here’s a track about those girls who breaks up that happy ending. Those “Kiss and never tell girls” as Omarion calls them. “Temptation” calls Omarion on this slow number. Very nice and smooth track. Nice ending to the track to. earStyle.NET rating:

“Sweet Hangover”: I feel like I’ve heard this track before, maybe it’s just because T-Pain produced it so it has that whole feel to it like “Buy U A Drink”. Dude even sounds like T-Pain on this track…Autotune? I guess. It’s not a bad track though. earStyle.NET rating:

“Thee Interlude” ft. Marques Houston: Very short interlude with cousins/brothers/whatever they are Marques Houston and Omarion. While it’s a cool interlude it just seems very random. This is already a very short album. earStyle.NET rating:

“Wet”: Hot song! Really don’t have to go into much details about this one. Use your imagination with the title folks lol. This one is the Baby maker of the album. earStyle.NET rating:

“I Think My Girl Is Bi”: Maddscientist really came through on this track. If he wanted to release an uptempo, it definitely should have been this track. One of my favorites on the album, and my favorite since it leaked a year ago. The chorus is very catchy and the beat is infectious. “Sometimes she can’t keep her pretty hands off me/But when shes with her girlfriend she don’t even speak/She can spot a pretty girl faster than I can/Tells me that she loves me but I’m trying to understand” earStyle.NET rating:

“Code Red”: Here’s a song about those girls you don’t bring home to Momma. Those very freaky girls. That even uses some lyrics from Gucci Mane’s “Freaky Girl”. Awful way to close the album in my opinion. Therefore….earStyle.NET rating:

Overall, the album was not as bad as I thought it would be, but it’s a far cry from Great. There’s a few tracks that definitely made the iPod. With some tweaking and a bit more creativity Omarion can definitely pop out another solid album sometime in the future. Maybe he needs to wait for some of these musical fads to die down first, before he gets too caught up in them like he did on this album.

earStyle.net Overall Rating:

Girl Groups seem to be a thing of the past. The last few to survive were Destiny’s Child and TLC, but this year a slew of girl groups have been making some noise. First up we have Electrik Red, that’s The Dream’s raunchy, provocative girls. Then there was Rich Harrison’s Rich Girl who created a small buzz and is currently on tour with Beyonce. Next up to bat is T-Pain’s Sophia Fresh.

“Give It To Me Right”- This is the first single. A hot track that sets a great tone for the album and her career as a whole. If you haven’t heard the song request it at your local radio station or on 106 & Park. It’s different and a hot record. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5 out of 5.

“Bang Bang”- Dope record. She has her heart on the target and she’s ready to “Bang Bang”. Nice concept that has a very similar feel as her first single “Give It To Me Right”. Vocals are great as expected. She is like a doper and an underrated version of Amy Winehouse. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

“Monday Morning”- Melanie Fiona tells her love that she’s leaving on Monday Morning. Not on Tuesday baby. This isn’t a sappy song either. The uptempo cut is very soulful and clean. We really enjoy her voice when the song is fading out. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4 out of 5.

“Please Don’t Go (Cry Baby)”- Keep on swinging and clapping! Really feeling this track. Melanie chants “All the Ladies take your crying to floor”. Theres no time to sit around and cry with Melanie she demands the ladies to floor. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5 out of 5.

“Ay Yo”- The mood of the album drops a bit on the track, but the voice is still there. So far the album is shaping up very nicely. Her voice is just so soothing and refreshing. Listening to this track just brings the thoughts of Summer. Dope feel. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5 out of 5.

“Walk On by”- An organ brings in this song. Feel like Melanie Fiona is taking us to church. She sings about making a person’s life hell. Nothing Godly about the lyrics lol. Nice record though. Don’t say shhh just walk on by. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

“You Stop My Heart”- Am I in Hawaii or something? I feel like I am just laying back on some sand while this girl is performing her heart out. She definitely knows how to take you to a pleasant place while listening. Bum Bum Bum Bum Bum. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4 out of 5.

“Johnny”- This may be the most uptempo song on the album. I love the scratches. I wonder who produced this one. This song actually reminds me of a song by an artist we featured here on the site named Wish. It sounds like her song “H.A.T.E.L.O.V.E.” yupppp..still really dig this track. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5 out of 5.

“Sad Songs”- Loving the island vibe. Very nice hook. As Melanie Fiona states in the beginning of the song, Sad Songs are the best songs. It seems that way doesn’t it? I was trying to think of who else this girl sounds like. It finally came to me on this track. She sounds like a much more polished Keyshia Cole. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

“Priceless”- This song is good. Doesn’t really stand out that much against the rest of this amazing album. It’s not a bad song, but nothing out of the ordinary. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

“It Kills Me”- This song leaked some time ago. I knew it would be my favorite from the album the day I heard it. Crazy record. This is the song that really got my attention and made me do my research on Melanie Fiona. Her vocals are crazy on this one. Supposedly this is the next single. There’s no reason why Radio shouldn’t play this…well wait. Radio never plays the good stuff anymore. EarStyle.NET Rating: 6 out of 5.

“Teach Him”- Nice way to close this amazing album. This song was actually used in the movie “Obsessed”. Dope Acoustic record. Overall, this was a great album! Everyone should definitely support her August 18th and cop this album. I believe the album is already out in Canada so if you live there make sure you check it out. Support her yall! This is true talent right here.

“Muah”: Electrik Red proclaims that their kissing game is the shit on “Muah”. They kiss their way through a chorus similar to the chorus on “So Good”. Electrik Guitars and all. This track couldn’t get any more seductive. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5/5

“So Good”: This track is “So Ooh Shit Damn So Good”, Tricky and the Dream really did their thing on this head knodding track. With the right promo this track could be doing so much more damage on the airwaves right now. The video is also a nice treat from this sexy, yet fun group. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5/5

“Devotion”: Electrik Red exposes their devotion to the lucky gentleman who has them for the night. It’s a nice little slow joing very reminscent of a Dream slow number off either one of his albums. Beautiful harmonies from the ladies. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4.5/5

“Freaky Freaky”: We’d love for the DJ to play this. Sexy vocals and a catchy chorus. There should be plenty of addictive choruses on this album since Dream wrote everything. Not bad ladies. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Bed Rest”: The production is kind of different here. Didn’t really expect this. This kind of reminds me of like an early 2000’s Pop track. Production actually reminds me of something Danja would do. Electrik Red doesn’t know why they are feeling down when you are giving them all they want and more. Hmmm…not bad. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Friend Lover”: Not that big of a fan of this track, but the video is cool. The song also has a very catchy bridge that may actually be better than the song’s hook. Even though it’s not at the top of my list the track is still pretty good. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3.5/5

“P Is For Power”: This is Electrik Red’s third official single from their debut album. The track has a catchy melody where they brag about their “P”. Yes, their P. Group member Sarah tells the unlucky guy that he’s not no Jay-Z or no Wayne. You know what that means? He ain’t getting no P, No! LOl, but the track is catchy and it should be interesting to see how the track will do on radio. Earstyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“W.F.Y.”: Tricky & The Dream gives Electrik Red a crazy uptempo number on “W.F.Y.”, better known as “We F*ck You”. Electrik Red tells their men that the ladies are the ones dominating in bed. I would really like to see a video for this one lol. The production is crazy and Lesley sounds great on the verses. This is definitely a highlight on the album. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5/5

“9 to 5″: Los Da Mystro nailed this track. The track is reminescent of an old Motown Girl Group song. Electrik Red wants you to work them like a 9 to 5. Alright, when does the job start? EarStyle.NET Rating: 4.5/5

“On Point”: This is one of the most addictive tracks on this album. The track mainly features singer/rapper/dancer Binkie. The track gives off a Kelis vibe, but it is dope nonetheless. The beat is kind of like a video game theme song. This track is probably what the group needs on radio. Try to not move your shoulders when this song comes on. It’s impossible. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5/5

“Drink In My Cup (ft. The Dream)”: Here is the original first single from the album. When I first heard this last year I wasn’t really impressed. I don’t know why? The track is pretty hot! I was definitely sleeping and the video for this track is pretty hot as well. I mean come on the girls had a hwole routine in bathroom stalls. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Go Shawty”: My favorite track on the album. The song is extremely sexy and would be another great candidate for radio. Who does not want to hear the lovely ladies of Electrik Red purring over a sexy beat and singing about them being sexually pleased? For the first time ever…EarStyle.NET Rating: 6/5

“Kill Bill”: Remember Rihanna’s “Breakin Dishes”? That track was also done by Tricky Stewart & The Dream. This track gives off the same uptempo “killer” vibe. Lesley proclaims how she will Kill Bill first thing in the morning for being up in teh clubs getting his freak on. R.I.P. to the guy who played Bill in the amazing “Kill Bill” series. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“So Good (ft. Lil’ Wayne)”: To close the album out we are offered the Lil’ Wayne assisted remix to “So Good”. Nothing different here but an half-decent verse from Rap heavyweight Wayne. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

Wayne definitely blessed the track with a usual hot 16, it was a nice edition, and I’m glad it stayed to the origins of the track. Plain, simple, and SO GOOD.

Overall- 4 out of 5 stars. There wasn’t too much I didn’t like. The production is ON POINT!!! Dream is a lyrical genius, and he picked the perfect girls to present the music. Beautiful and Sexy with personality, what more could u ask for?? Do what they say, cop a couple. It’s definitely worth it.

“Wheel of Fortune” (Intro): Dope intro track. We are treated to a choir of people singing “Back on my B.S.”. Lol! That’s Busta for you. Then the track begins with a nice old school vibe done by DJ Scratch. Nice way to start the album Bus! EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Give Em What They Askin For”: “They say we make the greatest hits. Who am I To disagree?” We feel the same way Swizzy! We can’t disagree at all. Not as infectious as “Touch It”, but it is definitely a banger! EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Respect My Conglomerate” (Feat. Lil’ Wayne & Jadakiss): You probably heard this one on the radio or saw the video on 106 & Park (I Know we did!). Features two Hip Hop artists who are on top of their game and reminisces Old Skool Busta. Dope track. No complaints here. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5/5

“Shoot For The Moon”: Busta wants to land on the stars on this one. However theres really nothing out of this world on this one. Cool album filler. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3.5/5

“Hustler’s Anthem ’09” (Feat. T-Pain): Dang right you keep hustling T-Pain. Here’s another track laced with a hook by Tallahassee’s T-Pain. Doesn’t it seem like he squeezes his way on every album? The track is cool. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3.5/5

“Kill Dem” (Feat. Pharrell & Tosh): The Neptunes! I think Busta Rhymes is on his Jamaican tip on this one…lol. Dope nonetheless. Neptunes chords, cow bells, and saxophones, nice. Haha, is Pharrell saying “Look at that muffin”. Wow, Lol! EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Arab Money” (Feat. Ron Browz): I know a lot of people hate on Ron Browz, but this track is hot. Love the sample, love the beat, it’s a pretty crazy single. Other than this being another LP from Busta, this is what really got me interested in checking out this album. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5/5

“I’m A Go And Get Ma…” (Feat. Mike Epps): Lol, Mike Epps is crazy! A little comedy relief, isn’t Busta known for that? DJ Scratch did this one too. Diggin’ the congos! EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“We Want In” (Feat. Ron Browz, Flipmode Movement, Spliff Star, Show Money): Here’s Ron Browz again on a hook. This beat goes. You can’t resist nodding to this one. If Rah Digga was still with Flipmode I guess she would be on this track. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“We Miss You” (Feat. DeMarco & Jelly Roll): I feel like Akon should be on this track. I’m not saying I want him on it in anyway lol, but it just seems like one of those tracks. Not bad, I could actually see Outkast straight murdering this beat. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3.5/5

“Sugar” (Feat. Jelly Roll): “Can’t wait to taste your sugar”. Here’s the making love song on the album. Feeling it! EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Don’t Believe Em (Feat. Akon &T.I.)”: Here’s Akon! T.I. may be the best thing about this track. This one is kind of generic. I will say the song has a nice message! EarStyle.NET Rating: 3.5/5

“Decision (Feat. Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, John Legend & Common) : Nice little inspirational track. All star line up, but I kind of lost interest quickly. Don’t know why? This song became background music quickly. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3/5

“World go Round (Feat. Estelle)”: This track is on some EuroPop ish. Word is that it’s Busta’s next single. This sound seems to be in so maybe it will work for him. Estelle sounds good on the chorus. Not bad, but interesting way to close this album. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Ciara to the Stage”: Originally titled “Explode”, the Tricky Stewart opening is a great start for this album. The slow sensual track has Ciara pouring her heart out to her lover. Ciara even gives us a little bit of her rapping on the slow number. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Love Sex Magic”: We first have to say that Ciara should give Justin a big hug for finally getting her a hit for this album. Big ups to you for that one man and we definitely looking out for your next album! Now, on to the track. I never really was a fan of this single, but I guess it did what they needed it to do. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3/5

“High Price”: I remember when this first leaked. Personally, I think this Dream/Tricky Stewart produced track is crazy! Ludacris of course comes hard on his verse and Ciara is pretty dope on the song too. Ciara says she should be a threat, because she is the bomb! We hear you C. EarStyle.Net Rating: 4.5/5

“Turntables”: Danja has a lot going on with the production here. It’s kind of hot though. Kind of. This track even comes complete with an appearance by Chris Brown. At first fans thought that the singer would be removed from the track after the controversy around him and Rihanna. Well, he’s still on it. Don’t know how I really feel about this one. EarStyle.Net Rating: 2.5/5

“Like A Surgeon”: Easily the best song on this album. With a drum pattern similar to Twista’s “Get It Wet” and the feeling of an old Timbaland track, the song is crazy! Think Aaliyah meets Ginuwine. Ciara sings to her lover, and serenades him as she says when it comes to her loving she’s like a surgeon. After this track, you will definitely want to be her next patient. This is definitely the slow jam that will take over urban radio. The label would be crazy to not eventually release this. Lovin’ it! EarStyle.Net Rating: 5/5

“Never Ever”: This is the first/second single (Don’t know if yall remember the omitted T-Pain collabo “Go Girl”). Polow does his thing as usual with this track. Young Jeezy is featured of course, I think he comes with your Polow first single. Look at Usher’s “Love in This Club”. Unfortunately, this one did not match the success of that track. The beat still knocks. EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Lover’s Thing”: Soon as the beat drops we can tell this is a Los production and Dream is featured. Dream and Ciara sings about being caught up in “this Lover’s Thing”. Nice vibe! EarStyle.NET Rating: 4/5

“Work”: The up-tempo track is reworked from how we initially heard it months ago. There’s a nice little addition in the beginning from long time collaborator, Missy Elliott. Kind of has a vibe like “Turntables”, but less annoying. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3/5

“Pucker Up”: Ciara tells us “We can kiss her swag”. We’ve kind of been over the whole “swag” thing and Dark Child productions lately. This is definitely filler material right here. EarStyle.NET Rating: 2/5

“G Is for Girl (A to Z)”: Beyonce’s a Diva and Ciara’s a G! This track kind of reminds me of Keri Hilson’s “Turn Me On”. More filler material, but this one is kind of hot production and arrangement wise. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3/5

“Keep Dancin’ on Me”: This track originally featured The Dream, now Ciara rocks this one alone. I kind of lost focus on this track. It’s one of those songs that play in the background and you really don’t notice it. Probably could have been left off the album. EarStyle.NET Rating: 2/5

“Tell Me What Your Name Is”: Ciara wants to make you hers so tell her what your name is! Here’s one of the few tracks that did not leak six months in advance! The song is pretty cool. EarStyle.NET Rating: 3.5/5

“I Don’t Remember”: Here’s another favorite! This track tells the story of the next morning after a party. Ciara sings of still having on the same clothes from the previous night and not knowing how she ended up where she is! Ciara parties hard! This one was produced and written by Ne-Yo. The man is a beast! Now listen and clap & sing along. EarStyle.NET Rating: 5/5
