Today is Songstress/Actress Aaliyah’s birthday. Decided to go with “Rock The Boat”, because it’s such a beautiful day outside and this video is def great imagery for this beautiful day. May she R.I.P. She was so beautiful!

Many of you may know that today marks the 9th anniversary of the sudden loss of the beautiful and talented Aaliyah. In 2002, Missy Elliott, TLC, and Tweet united for a tribute track for Aaliyah, Lefteye, and other fallen soldiers in music. The track, “Can U Hear Me” also features a chilling voice recording from Aaliyah’s own mother. Check out the track below! R.I.P. Aaliyah!

Today we gonna take it back with the talented, beautiful, late Aaliyah. We miss you girl! I chose this record right here, because Lucky Libra demanded an Aaliyah track. I ain’t mad at her, but if I was going to post an Aaliyah track it had to be this one. It has to be one of the most underrated Aaliyah tracks, but it is one of my favorites. This is Timbaland at his best! The track hits hard and Aaliyah looks great in this video.

What’s Going On?: According to rumors, there is an Aaliyah flick in the works with Canadian R&B artist Keshia Chante. There really has not been any official press, but if the movie is indeed in works it will definitely be a must see!
