New Music: T-Pain ft. Rick Ross – “Rap Song”
Posted in New Music by Zay | Tags: Rick Ross, t-pain
T-Pain doesn’t make love to slow songs, he prefers a good “Rap Song”. Rick Ross joins T-Pain on his new single for his upcoming album “Revolver”. T-Pain is looking for that hit before he drops his album and I think this may be it!

New Music: Travie McCoy ft. T-Pain – “That’s Not Cool”
Posted in New Music by Zay | Tags: t-pain, Travie McCoy
Travie McCoy goes for a harder rock sound on this new track featuring T-Pain. You can definitely tell this is a T-Pain production and I’m feeling it. Not bad. Maybe this is a leftover cut from Travie McCoy’s solo debut album, “Lazarus”. If y’all didn’t check that out make sure y’all do!

New Music: Roscoe Dash ft. T-Pain & Fabo – “My Own Steps”
Posted in New Music by Zay | Tags: Fabo, Roscoe Dash, t-pain
This is funny, because I heard this track maybe two years ago. It was just labeled as Timbaland and T-Pain though, but apparently Don P. produced this hot one. This is a good look for Roscoe Dash and will definitely be all over the radio. It also features D4L’s Fabo. I got “My Own Steps”, I got my own style.

Nappy Boy Ent. presents new girl group Sophia Fresh. Girl groups come and go like summer riddim hits, but T-Pain may have something up his sleeves. Sophia Fresh is preparing their debut album, but until then you can hear them on the Step Up 3D soundtrack. Here is the single off the soundtrack “This Instant”. Once you hear this you will be out of your seat instantly. One word: Caliente!

T-Pain Takes You To The Rodeo With Young Jeezy
Posted in New Music by Zay | Tags: t-pain, Young Jeezy
T-Pain takes you to the rodeo with his second single, “Reverse Cowgirl” off of his upcoming “ReVolver” album. The single features Young Jeezy. This is a dope track and a great followup to the banger “Take Your Shirt Off”. T-Pain never disappoints when it comes to albums so I’m sure this fourth album will be just as crazy as the others.

Slim formerly of R&B Group 112, already proved that he could hold his own on the solo tip with his hit single “So Fly”, which features Young Joc. The single blazed airwaves all over the country this past summer. See if his debut solo album “Love’s Crazy” stacks up to the hype from his first single.
We begin with the intro to the album which is entitled “Intro Psalm”, an interesting intro which recites the Bible’s 23rd Psalm. Slim offers smooth background vocals, before he proclaims “God’s First”. Slim boasts about his shawty that’s a ten on the first song “She Got That”, produced by T-Pain. Next we are treated to the Ryan Leslie produced “Good Lovin’” which features the hit-producer and Fabolous. Slim is basically telling a girl that he can give her all the “good lovin’” that she needs. Apparently, this track is the second single and it’s not bad. The track is followed by the Odd.N.Endz first single “So Fly”. Of course, you already know all about the track.
The “Baby Yu (Interlude)” is a radio skit which reminds all of the fans and any new fans of Slim’s past with his group 112. I’m definitely loving “So Gone”, which features Faith Evans (Where she been at?)”. The song begins with an electric guitar which lays the fundamentals down for the sexy song where Slim tells exactly how he feels about his girl. It’s great to hear Faith Evans again, especially on a real hot and sexy track, definitely a standout. “Sweet Baby”, continues the good loving mood of the album. It seems like someone is a little whipped. There are really no bad stories here so far. Slim lets it be known that ladies don’t need anything, but a sexy pair of heels on the sexy “Heels On”. The seductive track features Yung Berg and Deezo. The track is alright. Next up, Slim takes it to the bedroom on the slow number, “Bedtime Stories”. It seems like the Dream and Tricky Stewart stopped through on the Prince influenced “U Got Me (Addicted)”. To our surprise up & coming producer and songwriter Malay actually penned and produced the track. You may remember the name from the latest seasons of Making the Band.
On the T-Pain mid-tempo “Don’t Say It”, Slim sings “Don’t say you’re done, don’t say no more, don’t say you’re leaving”. This seems to be the beginning of when all of the love is starting to go. On the Mario Winans produced “Leave U Alone”, which has a kick to it a little something like Danity Kane’s “Damaged”, Mario sings about his girl who cheated. Now he has to let her go. What happened to all the love? I’m definitely feeling the track though. It almost makes you want to dance, but the man just got cheated on by his girl. I guess we can nod and feel his pain. “More” is an excellent interlude where Slim tells a girl that she deserves more. Slim never meant for his girl to get away on the track “Apologize”, which is also produced by heavyweight Mario Winans. The closing up-tempo “Love’s Crazy”, is full of Atlanta All Stars. The track features OutKast rapper Big Boi, who is also due to release a solo album soon and hit producers Organized Noize, whom are responsible for TLC’s “Waterfalls”. The melody of the chorus kind of reminds me of the chorus from “We Can Do It Anywhere”. Maybe it’s just me.
Overall, Slim produced a hot album. I definitely do not see any problems for longevity for this album. The album has many tracks that could be potential hit singles. I’d recommend that you go out and cop this album November 18, 2008 and support him. Some of my personal favorite cuts from the album are “So Fly”, “Love’s Crazy”, “Leave U Alone”, “U Got Me (Addicted)”, and “So Gone”. Head over to the media section and Let us know what you think!
