The Clipse are FINALLY pushing out a Re-Up Gang Compilation CD to stores near you on August 5th, 2008. If you are not too common with the Re-Up Gang, this group consists of 4 major team players. Ab Liva, all you ILLidelphia dudes might recognize him from Major Figgaz. Sandman aka Sand Cannons, also a Philadelphia native who runs his own camp C.A.N.N.O.N.S. Incorporated. Pusha T and Malice of the Clipse, need i say more.

After that brief introduction the album is definitely something to go and get. Some familiars might remember a few verses but remember that now these are their beats, not Mic Check or Bring It Back..HINT HINT

She may not be picture perfect like her big sister Beyonce as she sings over Kanye’s “Everything I Am” on her mixtape track “Fuck The Industry (Sincerely Signed)”. The track will be on her upcoming mixtape “I Can’t Clearance”. I don’t know about everyone else, but I had puppy love for Solange ever since she appeared alongside Bow Wow in his video for the track “Puppy Love”. LMAO. Big Ups to all the winners and performers who actually showed up to the 2008 BET Awards. Don’t yall think Ciara kind of shut down Rihanna this year? I Mean she even went on stage and seduced Chris Brown! Lol. Ciara on looks alone and dancing basically outdid just about every female that graced the stage that evening…well except for Alicia Keys, En Vogue, and the surviving members of TLC.   Word is that the original R&B Boy Band New Edition is in works of producing a film about their story and everything that went down with Bobby leaving and etc…. Do we care though?
• Timbaland Marries….Again
  Superstar producer Timbaland (inserts beat boxing) married his publicist Monique again in Aruba. In attendance was long time collaborator Missy Elliott, his chorus/hook artist and talented writer of The Clutch Keri Hilson, his newest signee to Mosley Music Group Omarion, and many more…I believe Scott Storch played the piano for the big event! Naw…I’m just playing lol.

So one of the hottest shows of the year is on television tonight! That’s right the BET Awards. Personally, I am really looking forward to the show tonight. It is one of the few award shows that showcases black TALENT and all the performances are usually great.

Now, I may have a spoiler for the evening, but word on the streets is that R&B Girl Groups are coming together tonight for something special. Word is that T-Boz and Chilli of TLC will be performing with Alicia Keys. Yes, I said Alicia Keys. Well I guess we will just have to wait for 8pm EST to see what goes down and stop back for a full rundown of the show!

So after a small disappearance…Earstyle.NET is back! We are now hosting ourselves and as you can see things are quite different. Not to toot my own horn, but personally I am feeling this new look and feel for the site and I hope everyone else enjoys it. That especially goes for you (yup you!) Oh yeah and I’m right here and I ain’t going where. However, if you plan on going anywhere you need to stop at your local record store or hit up Amazon, Zune Marketplace, or Itunes and cop N*E*R*D’s “Seeing Sounds”. The album is amazing! While you get the feel of things around here I will be working on bringing back all of the interviews and everything else and there’s a lot more on the way so don’t go no where!
